Electives
A celebration of cultural hybridity
Electives is the blending of Persian, Indian, Arabian, European and Islamic cultures. The cultural hybridity is obvious within the visual content; however this is also shown in the chosen media. Using traditional imagery and style, which would have at one time been painstakingly created in miniatures several hundred years ago, we now see its influence reappear in the form of digital media.
